Job Description

OVERVIEW

  • The Marketing Assistant will be focused on the plan, management, execution and continuous improvement of the strategic marketing initiatives through brand marketing activities, promotion program and community involvement programs. The Marketing Assistant will conduct market research, make marketing plan to execute it at store level, work with other departments to drive traffic, sales and brand awareness.
  • The Marketing Assistant will be under Brand Marketing team and report directly to Marketing Manager

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Conduct market research and analyze market, competitor as well as shoppers.
  • Build marketing plan base on internal data and external data
  • Assist Manager to develop, implement and monitor all marketing activities including POSM production, promotion campaign, social marketing, store marketing, …
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to ensure perfect execution of the plan
  • Organize events and exhibitions for the promotion of products to capture potential markets
  • Plan advertising budgets and negotiate with the ad agencies and leasing of additional services
  • Prepare monthly expenditure report for advertisements, promotion events and all types of expenses involved in marketing
  • Monitor the impact of marketing strategies adapted on the sales of the product and make necessary amendments
  • Strictly adhere to all trademark regulations, to include seeking approval for trademark use prior to printing and production
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENT

  • Education background in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related fields
  • 1- 2 year experience in marketing or retail industry
  • Be aware of the market trends, competitors in the market and future threats
  • Knowledge and experience in marketing strategies, branding, advertising and media
  • Good presentation skills, statistical skills and time management skill
  • Good at English communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient communication skills to negotiate with other departments and advertising agencies
  • Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and should believe in team work and collective efforts
  • Creative, Open-minded, “Can Do” attitude
  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Office
